Alinma Bank has, for the first time in Saudi Arabia, introduced coin deposit machines that will be available at selected Alinma branches across the kingdom. The first of these was recently inaugurated at the bank’s head office branch in Riyadh. The move comes as part of the bank’s ongoing effort to bring service excellence, innovation and convenience to bank partners (customers) while maintaining the trusted level of Shariah-compliance partners have come to expect from Alinma.
The new machines provide partners with a simple, easy-to-follow process that allows for the direct deposit of Saudi coins into partner accounts. The machines accept all coins issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), including those that are part of SAMA’s recently released sixth version of the Saudi Arabian currency.
Speaking about the new service, Alinma Bank CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, said that the bank was always looking to enhance its partner experience, and that automation would continue to help streamline processes and provide partners with a broad range of time-saving services that simplify their financial lives.
Alinma’s automated services form an important pillar of its service focus; and in addition to the new service, the bank also offers automated safe deposit boxes, conventional ATMs, and the recently launched small denomination ATMs, which dispense one, five and ten Riyal notes.
Once fully rolled out, coin deposit machines will be available at 22 of the bank’s 139 branches across the kingdom. Additionally, the bank provides a comprehensive array of e-services including Alinma Internet (www.alinma.com), Alinma Phone (80012080000), and the Alinma smart device application.
