Alinma Bank to Participate at Open Day Exhibition at King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals

Alinma Bank will participate in the Open Day exhibition being organized by King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals from the 3rd through the 5th of January 2011. At the career fair style event, Alinma staff will share information about the bank with students and graduates interested in potentially working for Alinma. Various job openings will be available along with special incentives for candidates whom are subsequently hired by the bank. Alinma’s involvement is part of an ongoing effort by the bank to contribute to the national economy by recruiting, training and developing qualified Saudis to enter the banking industry.

Speaking about the event, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Hudaif, general manger of Alinma’s Human Capital group, stressed the importance of participation in such events, as the bank believes that human resources are indeed its real capital. He also said that attracting young talent and promoting them is a strategic objective of the bank that can be achieved through enrolling young graduates in specialized training programs that the bank provides in collaboration with a number of training centers as well as through on-the-job training.

Dr. Al-Hudaif added that the bank has a commitment to corporate social responsibility, which it fulfills, in part, through its activities related to the recruitment and training of recent college graduates.

Alinma Bank officially launched its operations during the second half of 2009, providing a comprehensive range of Shariah-compliant products and services.
