Under the patronage of HRH Prince Dr. Faisal Bin Misha’al Bin Saud Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Province, Alinma Bank sponsored “Sheikh Al Sa’adi Conference: His Scientific and Advocacy Impacts”, held at Qassim University on Wednesday and Thursday (23-24 Rabie Al Awal 1441) in collaboration with “Sheikh Ibn Othaymeen Chair for Sharia’h Studies”.
On this occasion, Mr. Abdulmohsen Bin Abdulaziz Al-Fares, the CEO of Alinma Bank, confirmed the Bank’s concern for supporting cultural and scientific activities and raising awareness about prominent figures in all fields. Sheikh Al Sa’adi is one of the Kingdom’s most renowned scholars and was known for his wide Sharia’h knowledge and Fiqh, besides his high moral standards. Moreover, he has had outstanding contributions to the spread of education and Islamic knowledge. Hence, Alinma Bank was keen to participate in this conference in honor of the scientific contributions of Sheikh Al Sa’adi, Sheikh Ibn Othaymeen and other scholars as well as the Kingdom’s leaders since the era of the founder, King Abdulaziz Ibn Abdulrahman, up to the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud.
It is worth noting that Alinma Bank actively seeks to developing and fostering Islamic banking. As a result, the Bank recently obtained several awards, most notably the “Leadership in Islamic Banking for 2019” Award from the Global Islamic Finance Awards “GIFA”, “Excellence in Islamic Banking” Award in Finnovex Forum in recognition of the Bank’s leadership in providing Sharia’h-compliant banking services and publishing the resolution of the Sharia’h Board in 3 volumes and launching the e-version of the same “Application of Alinma Shari’ah Publications”.
