alinma Partners with SaudiEXIM Bank to Support SME Financing

As part of its commitment to supporting the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector and strengthening its role in the national economy, Alinma Bank has signed a cooperation agreement with The Saudi Export-Import Bank (EXIM) to provide financing solutions targeting businesses operating in the export sector. This initiative is part of the Bank’s ongoing efforts to deliver innovative financing solutions tailored to the needs of SMEs, with a focus on key sectors that contribute to GDP growth and the expansion of national exports.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Saudi Export-Import Bank by H.E. Eng. Saad Alkhalb, and on behalf of Alinma Bank by Mr. Abdullah Ali AlKhalifa, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. The agreement enables small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to benefit from financial guarantees, whereby the Saudi Export-Import Bank covers up to 80% of the financing value provided through Alinma Bank, with a financing ceiling of up to SAR 50 million per enterprise.

The partnership aims to empower SMEs to expand their export activities, enhance their competitiveness, and drive national economic growth, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to support entrepreneurship and strengthen financial sustainability.
