As part of its commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, empowering entrepreneurs, and contributing to the Kingdom’s economic development goals, Alinma Bank has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Yamamah University. The agreement aims to support applied innovation and entrepreneurship, while strengthening collaboration between academia and the financial sector to develop national talent and transform ideas into practical, scalable solutions.
The MoU includes the establishment and operation of a university-based Innovation Center on Al Yamamah University’s campus, serving as a dynamic platform to enable students and entrepreneurs to develop their projects through specialized programs and joint initiatives that contribute to building an integrated innovation ecosystem. The collaboration also covers the organization of hackathons and innovation challenges, the implementation of incubator and accelerator programs, support for startups and emerging ventures, and the provision of cooperative and hands-on training opportunities for students.
