Alinma Bank has topped the Forbes Middle East list of best Saudi banks for 2021. Forbes collaborated with market research firm Statista to compile the list, with Statista conducting more than 43,000 interviews worldwide, including interviews done in Saudi Arabia, to assess customer sentiment on issues of trust, fees, and quality of digital services in the banking sector. Other key financials were also reviewed, with Alinma Bank showing strong resilience in the wake of challenges encountered in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ranking affirms the strength of Alinma Bank in the highly competitive Saudi banking sector, with Alinma surpassing some of the largest financial institutions in the kingdom to top the Forbes Middle East list.
It is worth noting that Alinma Bank is a leader in the Saudi banking sector in the provision of electronic banking services and use of the latest in banking technology. In this regard, Alinma recently obtained CMMI certification for implementing best practices in the management and development of technical services – the first bank in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region to do so.
