Alinma Bank and the Doyof Al Rahman program (one of the implementation programs of Saudi Vision 2030) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing banking services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. The agreement serves as an opportunity for Alinma Bank to showcase its leadership in developing advanced banking solutions and services, to serve pilgrims in need of robust payment and financial services, and to support the growth of the rapidly expanding religious tourism sector.

Speaking about the agreement, Alinma Bank CEO, Mr. Abdullah bin Ali Al-Khalifa, explained that the bank has an ongoing commitment to innovation and the delivery of best-in-class smart banking solutions to its partners (customers) across a range of sectors.  He went on to laud the Doyof Al Rahman program as one of the most important pillars of the kingdom‘s Vision 2030 initiative, and praised government efforts to provide the very best experience for all pilgrims and guests visiting Makkah and Madinah.  Al-Khalifa also noted that as part of the agreement, the bank would engage its Alinma Investment and Saudi Financial Technology Company subsidiaries to provide relevant input and service delivery.

For his part, Doyof Al Rahman program CEO, His Excellency Dr. Rami bin Abdul Rahim affirmed his organization’s commitment to the welfare of pilgrims and expressed his confidence in Alinma Bank’s capability to provide unique and innovative financial transaction systems and other services to support the Hajj and Umrah experience.  He went on to note that development plans would also include the financial and technical enhancement of the retail, corporate, investment, and financial technology sectors, in order to reflect the kingdom’s commitment and to highlight its efforts in serving visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.
