His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region, recently launched the “Prophet's Mosque Manuscripts Exhibition”, which oversees the collection, restoration, and exhibition of Qur’an manuscripts, as well as the displaying of artifacts from the Prophet Mohammed’s life. This is the first exhibition of its kind, and is being developed cooperatively by the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) and the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Holy Mosque and the Noble Mosque of the Prophet. Alinma Bank’s sponsorship of the exhibition is part of the bank’s social responsibility efforts and highlights its commitment to supporting and promoting Islamic and civilizational heritage in the kingdom.
Speaking about His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz’ generous patronage of the exhibition, Alinma Bank CEO, His Excellency Abdullah bin Ali Al-Khalifa, said that Alinma Bank was proud to support such a worthwhile endeavor. He further lauded the governor’s interest and support for the museum concept.

The exhibition will provide researchers, academics, specialists and students with unprecedented access to rare artifacts that will enhance their ongoing work in the development of Islamic and historical disciplines. Likewise, visitors to the endowment’s museum will have the opportunity to explore a vast collection of rare and noteworthy Islamic artifacts and original manuscripts. Tours will also highlight the processes involved in restoring various artifacts.
