Alinma Bank was a double winner at the 3rd Middle East Financial Technology Conference (MEFTECH), which was sponsored by the Saudi Payments Network (mada) and was held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh, February 25-26, 2020. The conference was opened by the Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Abdul Karim Al-Khulaifi. Alinma Bank received awards for achieving the highest percentage of mobile payments compared to POS transactions in 2019, and the highest POS activity rate during 2019.
On this occasion, Ibrahim AlSayyari, Executive Vice President of Retail Banking at Alinma, said that both awards reflected the bank’s approach to delivery of service excellence to its partners (customers). He noted that Alinma consistently provides a best-in-class service experience, leverages the latest in banking technology, and executes on digital transformation efforts, all of which fall in line with the requirements and objectives of the Financial Sector Development Program of the kingdom's Vision 2030 initiative.
