Minister of Housing Meets with Alinma Executives

The Saudi Arabian Minister of Housing, His Excellency Majed Bin Abdullah Al Hogail, recently visited Alinma Bank to meet with executives and to discuss issues related to the current state of housing and home financing in the kingdom.  The meeting, which took place at the bank’s head office in Riyadh on March 2, 2017, was attended by Alinma Bank Chairman, HE Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Zamil, the bank’s CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, and several other key bank executives as well as senior ministry officials.
Attendees engaged the minister on a number of topics and discussed, at length, ways in which Alinma Bank can continue and further enhance its support of the ministry’s efforts to increase home ownership and provide adequate housing for Saudi citizens.
Speaking about the visit, Mr. Al-Zamil said he was pleased with the level of cooperation and exchange between the bank and the ministry, and expressed, on behalf of Alinma, full support for the residential housing development efforts of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz.
“Alinma Bank is proud to take a leading role in the Ministry of Housing’s plans to address the pressing housing needs facing Saudi citizens,” said Al-Zamil.   “The minister’s visit came as a result of numerous preliminary discussions; and it provided a valuable opportunity to discuss ways in which Alinma can further enhance its contribution to the effort. We anticipate facilitating home ownership for a great many citizens in the future through our real estate financing services.”
Al-Zamil also noted that Alinma had, in recent years, financed thousands homes across the kingdom and that the bank had always taken particular interest, as part of its core mission and vision, in addressing the challenges citizens have faced in obtaining adequate housing.
Alinma Bank provides a broad range of fully Shariah-compliant real estate financing products and services, including a financing program in cooperation with the Real Estate Development Fund.  Alinma partners (customers) may apply for financing through the bank’s Global Limit service, which clearly and transparently defines the amount of financing a partner is eligible for across all financing categories (real estate, auto, personal), giving the partner flexibility and choice in making important financial decisions.
Alinma Bank serves it partners through a network of 130 branches across Saudi Arabia. The bank also provides a comprehensive array of around-the-clock electronic banking options including Alinma Internet (www.alinma.com), Alinma Phone (8001208000), the Alinma smart device application, and its network of 1340 ATMs kingdom-wide.
