RIYADH, September 1, 2016 – Working in cooperation with Prince Sultan Medical City, Alinma Bank has sponsored a blood donation campaign to support the Saudi military in the Southern Region of the kingdom. Held over the course of one week at the bank’s head office in Riyadh, the blood drive saw large numbers of bank staff donating blood for this vitally important humanitarian effort to support members of the Saudi military who work tirelessly to defend the kingdom, its citizens and residents. At the conclusion of the campaign, Alinma had surpassed the expected number of donors and had doubled the total donation target.
Among the donors were the bank’s top executives, including Alinma CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares. Speaking about the successful campaign, Al-Fares said that he was pleased with the overwhelming response from staff who, he said, were always ready to act in service of the kingdom, both professionally and personally. He also praised the efforts of the Saudi military across the kingdom, but especially in the Southern Region where their acts of heroism are to be commended.
Al-Fares concluded by expressing his most sincere hope for the continued safety, stability and prosperity of the kingdom and by thanking the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, and the Deputy Crown Prince, His Royal Highness, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for their ongoing guidance and service to the kingdom.
