Alinma Bank participated in the Second Forum for Endowments held last Wednesday and Thursday at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh. The event was held under the auspices of the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Sheikh Saleh Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh.
Alinma Bank recognizes endowments as being vitally important; and its participation was evidence of its commitment to contributing to the dissemination of information on endowments and the development of endowments to address the various needs of society. The bank has supported work on endowments in the legislative, regulatory and investment environments.
On the sidelines of the forum, Alinma staffed a booth where attendees could access more information on the endowment (Waqf) concept, as it is applies to various types of organizations such as charities, financial consulting institutions, and administrative organizations. The bank also provided information about its own products and services, including current accounts, credit cards, financing options, and savings and investment accounts. All of Alinma’s products and services are Shariah-compliant and have been designed to address the unique needs and aspirations of its partners (customers).
