New ATM Services Now Available to Blind Alinma Bank Partners

In a continuation of its initiative to serve its blind partners (customers), Alinma Bank has introduced new services at ATMs located at Alinma branches that will give blind partners the freedom to independently execute transactions and carry out other business related to their accounts. These new additions join an already impressive, groundbreaking array of Alinma services tailored for the blind, such as access to Alinma Internet (www.alinma.com) and Alinma Mobile/WAP.

Speaking about the launch of the new services, Alinma Bank CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, stressed Alinma’s commitment to social responsibility and the highest level of professionalism, both of which are reflected in the bank’s consistent consideration of the needs of its blind partners. He noted that with the new services, blind partners can execute, via earpiece, several transactions including cash withdrawals, balance inquiries, and PIN code management.

Al-Fares added that Alinma was also committed to the implementation of the very latest in banking technology and best international practices. He said that this ongoing attention to innovation has helped Alinma achieve a position of leadership among local, Gulf and regional banks. Al-Fares also extended his thanks to the Saudi Society for the Blind for their cooperation and assistance in helping bring these new services to fruition.

Comprehensive testing of the new services has been completed to ensure service accuracy and efficiency; and Alinma ATMs located at branches are now ready to provide the new services.

It is worth mentioning that this initiative is just the latest in an ongoing effort by Alinma Bank to enhance its ability to provide exemplary, Shariah-compliant products and services through a variety of innovative means in order to meet the requirements and aspirations of all its partners.
