Alinma Bank Receives ISO 27001 Global Certification for Online Banking Information Security Services

Alinma Bank is pleased to announce that it has received ISO 27001 global certification for its online banking information security services. This certification stands as another important achievement as Alinma continues in its mission to provide its e-banking services with convenience, excellence and the highest possible level of safety.

As part of the certification process, a professional audit was done by an ISO-licensed, independent, non-profit organization, which performed a detailed review of all documents and work procedures and conducted interviews and field visits to ensure compliance with ISO operating procedures. Following the audit, Alinma was officially granted the ISO 27001 certificate.

ISO certification is highly coveted because it stands as a universal stamp of approval that ensures conformity with best practices across a range of industries. The ISO 27001 certification in particular signals that recipient organizations have met the highest standards related to the efficiency and quality of information security management. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) grants this certificate with the aim of developing specifications and standards related to the management of information security.
