Alinma Bank First in GCC to Achieve CMMI Certification

Alinma Bank has become the first bank in the GCC region to receive CMMI certification for its best practices in the management and development of technical services.  The certification comes as a result of Alinma’s successful effort to maintain a competitive edge with reference to its electronic banking services.

 

On this occasion, Alinma’s Executive Vice President for Shared Services, Eng. Meshary AbdulAziz AlJubair, said that the bank would continue working to implement the latest global technical standards and practices, in order to augment Alinma’s digital infrastructure.

 

The CMMI Institute is a global, independent, non-profit organization that reviews, in detail, all steps of business implementation in accordance with approved standards, and holds meetings to ensure the application of conditional practices to obtain CMMI certification, which is recognized and respected internationally and as a mark of businesses’ competence and quality. The CMMI Institute grants this certificate with the aim of developing best practices and standards related to management and development of information technology services around the world.
