RIYADH, January 2, 2020 – At the close of 2019, Alinma Bank, in cooperation with King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, successfully completed its second blood donation campaign of the year at its head office building in Riyadh, with strong participation and support from bank staff of all levels.
The campaign was part of Alinma’s ongoing social responsibility efforts and sought to increase awareness among employees of the importance of donating blood, and the impact it can have in support of hospital patients in dire need of life-saving transfusions. Alinma Bank strives to be a contructive member of Saudi society, and uses such activities to foster a sense of community between the bank, citizens and residents, and those important social organizations that support society.
As was the case with previous blood drives, the campaign saw a large turnout of participants who donated through the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Reseach Center’s mobile blood unit. Alinma has sponsord eight such blood drives in recent years, and remains committed to sponsoring more such campaigns in the future, along with the numerous other social responsibilty activies on its annual calendar.
