Alinma Bank was in the spotlight Tuesday, November 4, 2019, at the 5th Islamic Retail Banking Awards (IRBA) where the bank took home awards for Most Innovative Islamic Retail Bank in Saudi Arabia 2019, and Best Digital Branch of the Year 2019.
In their evaluation of Alinma Bank, IRBA took into consideration the comprehensiveness of what Alinma has achieved with special attention being paid to its track record of innovation, including its use of the latest banking technology in its branches, 24/7 self-service banking options, smart-chip debit cards that can be instantly issued in-branch or printed via ATMs, contactless ATM withdrawals (a first in Saudi Arabia), the Apple Pay and mada Pay smart device payment apps, automated safe deposit boxes and other market-leading products and services, especially its newly launched digital branch initiative.
Accepting the award on behalf of Alinma Bank was Mr. Ibrahim AlSayari, Vice President & Head of Retail Banking, who, speaking about the accolades, noted that Alinma had worked hard over the past year to leverage whatever resources it could to deliver expanded and enhanced self-service options to bank partners (customers).
