In cooperation with the Itaam Saudi Food Bank, Alinma Bank recently donated 1,000 Ramadan food baskets that were subsequently distributed to needy families in several regions of the kingdom as part of Alinma’s social responsibility activities. The bank's employees also participated in a volunteer campaign alongside Itaam to distribute surplus food to needy families in the city of Riyadh.
Speaking about the donation, Alinma Bank CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, said that the bank was pleased to have had the opportunity to contribute to such a worthwhile effort, and noted that it was representative of Alinma’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility through charitable work that benefits society. He also said that it was part of the bank’s mission to involve staff in such activities, and reemphasized Alinma’s commitment to volunteerism.
Corporate social responsibility has been a pillar of the bank since its inception and Alinma sponsors numerous charitable activities each year.
