The World Union of Arab Bankers has recognized Alinma Bank as its “Best Bank in Electronic Banking” for 2018. The honor was bestowed on the bank at the Arab Banking Excellence and Achievement Awards, which annually gathers senior bankers from international and regional institutions to honor excellence in the banking sector.
Speaking about the recognition, Alinma Bank CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, expressed his pride at Alinma’s continued successes and its ongoing commitment to providing exemplary, innovative products and services to bank partners (customers). He went on to add that he was particularly encouraged by the fact that the award was voted on by financial authorities and industry experts, with deep, solid understandings of the Saudi market and the role that Alinma has played therein. He also noted that the award was a reflection of the bank’s longstanding effort to maintain a technological edge in the market, and that those efforts continued to pay off for the bank through the recognized excellence of its services.
Since launching operations in 2009, Alinma has received numerous awards, accolades and certifications. It was most recently named the “Fastest Growing Bank in Saudi Arabia” for the sixth time and also received the "Most Trusted Islamic Banking Brand in Saudi Arabia” award. Alinma is the most recent bank to open in Saudi Arabia and boasts one of the most technologically advanced banking infrastructures in the kingdom.
