As part of its ongoing effort to provide support and training for its staff, Alinma Bank has launched the second phase of its “Wa’ed” talent development program. Wa’ed has been an integral part of Alinam’s push to identify and then nurture talented, promising employees. The second phase of the program was introduced during a special launch event attended by the bank’s general manager of Retail Banking, Mr. Fahad Al-Semari, its general manager of human capital, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Hudaif, and a number of other bank officials.
Speaking about the launch, Alinma Bank CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, lauded the program and praised Alinma staff, calling them pillars of the bank and the real capital resource of the organization. He said that Alinma was committed to providing the best possible work environment for staff and to extending to them quality training and development opportunities. He noted that by doing so, Alinma would be successful in meeting its objectives and grooming talented employees for leadership roles. Al-Fares further asserted that Alinma’s past accomplishments were a direct result of the ongoing investment and commitment it has made to its staff.
It is worth mentioning that the Wa’ed program is one of the outputs of Alinma’s broader effort to train and promote managers and executives within the bank. Launched in 2015, the effort aims to accurately measure performance, identify promising talent, and develop that talent along a career trajectory that benefits both the individual and the bank
