Alinma Bank recently participated in the 30th Gulf Consolidated Traffic Week, the slogan of which was "Our goal is your safety." The event took place on March 9, 2014.
Alinma Bank, which is firmly dedicated to corporate social responsibility, participated in the hope that it could help increase awareness of traffic regulations and guidelines, which are in place to safeguard the lives and well-being of all.
Speaking about the event, the CEO of Alinma Bank, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, said Alinma was pleased to be able to partner with other organizations to support such a worth cause. He noted that increased awareness of traffic regulations would help to minimize accidents and injuries.
Al-Fares expressed specific concern for children and youth, who are all too frequently victims of irresponsible drivers, noting that there was a collective responsibility to safeguard their lives and their futures. He also stressed the importance of integration of efforts among various institutions and sectors of the community to raise awareness.
The Gulf Consolidated Traffic Week is an annual event that brings together public and private organizations as well as community representatives and local personalities from across the GCC to educate the public on the importance of traffic safety and its societal implications.
