At an award ceremony held Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai, Alinma Bank was recognized by Banker Middle East magazine as being the fastest growing bank in Saudi Arabia. The award compared the most recent year-end financial results of Saudi banks, with Alinma besting a strong field of well-established competitors.
For the 2011 financial year, Alinma posted strong growth, with a net profit of SAR 431 million, a 2773% year-over-year increase.
Speaking about the award, Alinma Bank CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, expressed his gratitude for the accolade. “We, at Alinma Bank, truly appreciate this award,” said Al-Fares. “It represents the confidence our partners (clients) have in us; and it is evidence that we are moving forward towards some of the lofty goals we have set for the bank.”
