Alinma Bank Opens Makkah Branch (Al Aziziyah)

Alinma Bank has announced further expansion of its banking network with the opening of a new branch in the holy city of Makkah, in Al-Aziziyah district, on Al-Aziziyah Street. The opening of this new branch is part of the bank’s ongoing effort to provide greater flexibility, convenience, and assured Shariah-compliance to its partners. The branch will serve local needs including those of visitors who have come to perform the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.

Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, the Alinma CEO, said that the bank was working to execute growth plans related to banking services, and that the important presence of the bank in a city such as Makkah would bring Alinma and its services closer to its partners. He also noted that Alinma would, in 2011, focus on expanding its branch network and range of innovative product and service offerings.

Mr. Al-Fares added that the bank had recently opened a number of other branches in cities including Riyadh, Dammam, Mubaraz, Ahsa, Najran and Arar, thereby bringing the bank’s total count of branches to 44.

Alinma currently has several branches in advanced stages of construction and also provides its services through a range of electronic channels including Alinma Internet (www.alinma.com), Alinma Mobile, Alinma Phone (8001208000) an extensive network of more than 255 ATMs.

Working hours at Alinma branches extend from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday through Wednesday. Additionally, branches in the cities of Riyadh (Takhasusi branch), Jeddah (Rabwa branch) and Dammam (Tubaishi branch) are open on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
